From the second I got her emails, it was love. Maria inquired with me at 9:06 am with this " Love your work. Please tell me you are available." At 11:41 am I got her second email, before I'd even had a moment to respond to her first one. "We want to take the plunge and book you! Your work is absolutely stunning and radiates emotions. We would love if you could be our photographer!! Please say yes!"
I've had high schoolers tell me someday I will photograph their wedding, and I do. I've had couples book me before booking venues, couples who call me from venues to find out what dates I'm available before they pick a date. But I'd never had a bride book me before even hearing from me, and that trust, that love of my work made me fall so hard for Maria and Rictor.
Their wedding was the kind of wedding that fills you up so full your heart sings. I had been wanting to shoot at Sand Rock Farms for literally YEARS and being able to do that, to photograph photos that I'd dreamed of in it's little cement room with the most willing couple, and to work with Gold and Gumption and E Event's co was what dreams are made of. And omg the magic we created together in the most magical perfect time stand still place on earth just slays me over and over again.
Maria and Rictor, I love you. Thank you for trusting me so completely and letting me get weird and moody and thank you for allowing me to be apart of your story.
